I've walked in shoes similar to yours - that of a wounded soul, enduring many traumas and hardships. Not knowing what to do or where to get help.
As a small child, I was in fear most of the time because I felt weird energy around me that no one knew what I was talking about. I often know what people are going to say before they say it.
I was sick a lot as a child. I picked up others' energies and became impacted by fear, anger, or some type of distress that WASN'T even mine - then acted out and got into trouble.
As an adult, I struggled with childbearing. After 2 miscarriages
and 2 premature sons who died within hours of birth - a
year apart, then we adopted.
My understanding and compassion for the heartache and heartbreak of others in the adoption process brought me to organize and promote an 18-month Adoption Support Program and Newborn Care Program for Adopting Parents.

My father passed away when I was 35, and something broke inside me. I could not contain my grief. The unresolved grief I carried for him hit the wall.
Traditional talk-therapy never worked for me. It wasn't until I learned alternative and complementary image-based (Hypnosis), energetic (Healing Touch and EFT), and spiritual (Shamanism) therapies that spoke to my heart, my soul, and my wounds.
These modalities made sense to my introverted and highly empathic brain and sensitivities. I hated being, and being called "too sensitive." I hated being sick a lot, especially after visiting the home of someone who had recently died. I was often frightened by things I heard "in the wind" which became real.
I divorced after 13 years of marriage, lost both parents by the time I was 40, and found myself a single parent. During my fathers illness, I met an oncology therapist who used Guided Imagery to work with cancer patients and those with a terminal diagnosis.
She introduced me to a shamanic practitioner. I had a spirit release session in the late summer of 1997 because I was sick of taking medicine and not finding an end to the lung issues. The short story is: she found an entity inside me, removed it and my lungs quit reacting and began to heal without all the medications and side effects.
By fall of 1997, I started a years' internship in shamanism, then went on to take counseling courses, followed by hypnotherapy training, Healing Touch, and EFT. I found a home in image-therapy that made sense to my brain. I was fascinated and smitten with alternative solutions that spoke to my deep heartaches and wounds.
In 2004, after 32 years, I left my first love, DENTISTRY, to open a private counseling practice offering the modalities that made sense to my heart, energy, and soul. These modalities changed my heartache, thinking, and beliefs, . . . often IN A HEART BEAT.
In 2017 I sold my house, gave most of the contents to Goodwill, packed up my car, clothes, office belongings, and moved from Washington State to Southern Maine.
Now, I offer therapeutic spiritual coaching to help clients be free to find and integrate their authentic self and become whole.
My story continues to unfold and I’m so pleased our paths have crossed. I look forward to working with you.
